During the darkest days of WWII, a handful of German university students—armed with typewriter, hand-cranked duplicating machine, and courage—distributed thousands of anti-Nazi leaflets and worked toward unifying resistance across Germany. Their ultimate goal: remove Hitler from power. A brother and sister, along with their friends, were students, intellectuals, romantics who believed in God. That belief compelled them to fight a regime that was decidedly anti-God, and thus, decidedly anti-human. During that fight they continued to attend lectures, write papers, cut classes, fellowship together, and date. Each one thought his or her life was just beginning.
